Bus Travel

Students who attend Galen Catholic College can access the Student Conveyance Program. This program allows families to receive financial assistance with the cost of transporting students to and from school where the student attends an eligible specialist school, or lives in rural and/or regional Victoria and attends their nearest appropriate school/campus.

Regional Government Bus Service

Cost: Varies depending on eligibility‍

Eligibility: Students attending their nearest school and living 4.8km or more from school (Eligible). Students not attending their nearest school and living 4.8km or more from school (Fare Based – Invoiced each Term)

Public Transport (PTV Service)

For students who reside in Chiltern, Corowa, Rutherglen, Wahgunyah, Yarrawonga, and Beechworth, if Galen is not your closest school a PTV form is to be completed at the beginning of each school year.

Corowa students will have the chance to apply for the NSW School Drive Subsidy Scheme – this is to assist families with the cost of student travel – please create an account with the NSW SDS and complete the application online.

Fallons Town Bus Service 

Cost: Free

Eligibility: Students attending their nearest school and living 4.8km or more from the school Application:
